An Overview of Student Employment Services
Located in 72 Garland Hall, Student Employment Services is open 8:30am - 4:30pm Monday thru
Thursday and 8:00am to 5:30pm on Friday. Student Employment serves as
a one-stop human resources and employment center for full-time Homewood
based students seeking part-time job opportunities as well as community service and volunteer
opportunities. Students can explore a variety of positions by visiting :

Our web-based job search
program which students can access through the Student Employment Services Web Site

And, our annual Student Job Fair where students have the opportunity to meet
and interview with a host of campus and off-campus employers in a festive
and supportive atmosphere.
In addition to providing employment and job search services, Student Employment Services processes
all student paychecks, maintains student employment records and supporting documents, and sponsors a variety of exciting events including:

Student Employment Services, Homewood Student Affairs and the President of Johns Hopkins University
join colleges and universities nationwide to show their appreciation for
student workers during National Student Employment
Week. All employers are encouraged to participate in this week long
event.

Each year, employers throughout the Hopkins community are given the opportunity
to nominate their best student worker to receive the prestigious
Johns Hopkins University Student Employee of the Year Award and compete
in the state, regional, and national competition.
